I was reading the harry potter book 7 on the bed and immi was singing and rolling around next to me when oskar decided to join us. When he jumped up onto the bed, immi rolled over to pet him.
Then, oskar settled on the pillow next to immi.
And then, gently, he pushed immi’s nose with his paw, which i have seen him do only to my sister and I.
…corner of her crib is the one with her aquarium (she used to prefer the left side of her crib with her animal mobile). she hangs out here very often. sometimes she would gather up mr. giraffie, mr. elephant, and bunnybuns and switch the toy on to have a little party.
[immi news] suddently today, she started making sounds that are more complex and speach-like, not quite babbling yet, but a lot more expressive than cooing. she still likes to sing and make baby terradactyl noise, these apparently are different activities to her.

Todd, immi and i spent an extended weekend (july 13—18) in mt. Gretna visiting immi’s great aunt/uncle and her second cousin alisa. We stayed at their lovely cottage next door to their house.

we are at Le Sorelle, THE place to have breakfast in Gretna, where immi got so much attention from everyone dining there (“ooooh she is a doll!” “how cute!” “how old is she??”).

Spending the last night in Mt. Gretna with eveyone at a really delicious seafood restaurant. Here is a pic of Todd, Immi&I, and Alisa.
My mom has been sending me huge box of random edible goodies everytime she visits japan for past 10 years (!!!). This past Saturday morning, we received one and there were some goodies for immi too! These japanese baby food look so yummy i want to eat them. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
Immi started eating oatmeal cereal 2 days ago. Her pediatrician says that she can start eating fruits and veggies with 3 days in between introducing new ones. I think that we’ll see if she likes mushie peas next.

immi has just taken a bath and drying her hair sitting in the immipod. oskar came to ask me for some kitty treats.

[immi news] immi had her four month check up today (she is almost 5 month old now but this was the earliest appointment we could get!) with her new pediatrician. We all liked him much much better. Immi helped the doctor hold his stethoscope while he examined her. She had to get more shots, but she cried only for about 20 seconds: )
she is now:
Height: 25.5 inches
Weight: 12.6 lb
immi playing the piano AND singing at the same time! she likes to play it fortissississimo (loud music is always good right!?). she has been singing often lately (in “ahhh”s of different pitches and durations…)
