Immi found a box of her cookies and decided to have one. She offered a soggy one to oskar who happened by but he didn’t want any.

In the past couple of days immi has been pulling one on her arm out of her shirt like this:

I’m not sure if she wants a toga, going for a asymmetric look or simply that her big head stretches the neck of her shirt and it slide off her shoulder but she seems happy in her lopsided outfit.

We are visiting Charlottesville this weekend and staying at Jordan’s place.

Here is immi with [travel]crib-head.

Immi loves rummaging through any ‘thing’ with ‘bunch of stuff’ in it. Here she is going through her food bag and enjoying Jordan’s nicely carpeted apartment. She can throw stuff quite far as you can see.

This saturday morning, we are meeting with Allison at Cville coffee (after Bodo’s breakfast bagles!). This spot is known to be child-friendly, and as such, it was packed with babies/toddlers/kids running around and/or screaming which made immi a little grumpy.

We woke up on sunday morning to spend some time with the Pinkos (Wendy, Carey, Kevin), Aurie and Steve at Bluegrass Grill, which is locally famous for great breakfast. Aurie and Immi are having fun shredding the paper napkin while waiting for food.

…and immi learned to giving fives. She got it in about 3 tries!
Immi is snow watching with her dad on the balcony.

When immi sees a cat, she says “meow!” (she probably thinks its ‘hello’ in cat) and waves. Miss Monroe who had seemed indifferent about immi has been very affectionate towards her lately. Miss M would rub her face on immi and let immi pet her. Immi has learned to pet kitties gently instead of trying to rip their ears off.
Immi found her tongue. She sticks it out for you if you show her yours!

Immi was sitting and having breakfast when she spotted Mr. Oskar and started saying “meow. meeeeow. meow. meow. meooow….”. Now if you say “meow” to her, she replies “meow!”. Its not surprising immi started taking in cat since we live with 3 very talkative kitties.
We are having coffee at starbucks (this location has high chair!). Immi is watching her dad on the couch writing stuff on notepad.

Immi seems to have learned the meaning of ‘more’. When she is finished with her food in the bowl and I say “more?”, she shakes her head for ‘no’ or bangs on the table for ‘yes’.
Last night, immi said “gift!!” and gave Todd her plastic drumstick. …but that may have been a coincidence.
If you ask immi for a hug, she crawls over to give you one.
Immi can dance without holding on to things. I’m sure she is able to walk if only she wanted to.
…and in just one month, immi will be turning one!
Immi is working on her computer. This toy has been useful often in keeping her from banging up ours! She waves at the computer when it says “bye-bye” on closing.

We got extra panels to expand immiland because immi is getting bigger and so are her toys!

We are at Jaleo (a spanish tapas place in DC). Nick and Todd had a show to catch so Immi and I met up with Junko at teasim and then we all merged here.
Immi loves the big window, she waves ‘hello’ at strangers passing by.

Immi and Aunt Junko (and patatas bravas!!). Immi is still a little short for this table even with the highchair but she doesn’t seem to mind much.

It’s quiet here in the midmornings — after breakfast, after todd goes to work, after immi is done playing (bang! crash!! beep beep!!!) and when she takes a nap.
This is when you’ll find mr. seagal taking a nap at the coziest spot.

…and miss monroe at the oddest place you can imagine.
…and oskar hanging about with me at the desk having coffee and doing stuff with the computer.

Immi is eating boiled tempei&greenbeans.

Immi’s pediatrician called today to tell us that her blood test (regarding low body weight) came back and everything is normal. We did think that immi’s lean figure isn’t surprizing since she spends every waking minute being active.
Immi got some soy milk in a cup today (i had to hold it with her so that it doesn’t go flying!) because the pediatrician suggested it to help her weight. She drank very well from the cup and she seems to like it. She had a lot of fun blowing bubbles into the milk, even more than drinking it.
