It’s really nice out and Immi, Ashland and I walking about and wondered into a store called PaperZone. They have lots of office paper, stationary and scrap booking stuff. Immi is having fun at the crayon station.
Immi sitting at the Pearl Bakery watching his brother hanging out in his car seat.
Immi taking a walk with her dad in Pearl District.
Immi riding her giraffe with her monkey and the cat wearing her princess shoes.
Having coffee at Flying Cat Coffee. Immi, wanted to jump up and down on the couch because her little brother was jumping up and down on his daddy’s lap. So I had to tell her that she is too big for jumping on the couch, but that big immi gets to have a super yummy organic lollipop with vitamin C in it. She was happy with the arrangement
We are at the Children’s Museum with our new friend and her 3 year old girl from a meetup group. We wanted to come here while they had Clifford the Big Red Dog exhibit because Immi LOVES Clifford (she is the one who pointed out about this event in the Portland’s newsletter!).
Immi, her dad and her brother are learning all about the history of the Big Red Dog.
Immi is playing with the translucent shapes on the light table. She is, for some reason, obsessed with the isosceles (she won’t even look at the equilateral…). She stacked up all the isosceles triangles into a neat pile and won’t let anyone else touch them.
Here’s immi at the kid-sized [pretend] grocery store.
It’s been interesting having more opportunity to watch immi interact with other kids. Immi is quite specific about what she will share and what she won’t. She is willing to share most things actually, but not the very few selected items (…like the isosceles triangles).
Immi got her immi-sized HelloKitty pillow, HelloKitty and HelloKitty-sized HelloKitty pillow and appropriately sized blankets for each of them for a [pretend] nap time.
Immi loves making play-doh ice cream. She is just getting started here, prepping her little factory.
She loves making swirls in ice cream cone and making cup full of sprinkles!
Saturday Coffee at Seven Virtues. Immi is having hot chocolate. She seems to like it a lot (I tasted it to make sure it wasn’t too hot, and it is a very good cup of hot chocolate!).
Immi is playing dres-up. Tutu and princess cape and faery wand!
Saturday Coffee at Coffee Plant. …Just adventuring Portland one coffee shop at a time
Immi woke up feeling pukey this morning
We think that she is just tired, since she seems to have had trouble falling asleep last night and didn’t get enough sleep. She is finally well enough to catch up on sleep, and hopefully feel better. Oskar is keeping her company.
Amazingly, immi made a nearly full recovery by the late afternoon, but she still seems a bit tired and hiding out in the corner in between jumping around and singing.
Getting some very tasty bread and pastries.
I’m very happy to say, going to a bakery (it seems we’ll never run out of new ones to find!) has become part of our weekly ‘errand’
