Our friends Tim & Faye are stopping by Portland on their cross country road trip. We are in Downtown area, for the very famous (It had been on our list of places to go, but haven’t made it here until now!) Voodoo Doughnut.

Immi is eating all the sprinkles and frosting off the donut. I’m assuming that she has no intention of eating the actual donut.

Immi took immediate liking to Tim and Faye (especially Faye!!). While they were around, immi only wanted to hold hands with Faye, and not me, and got upset every time they got separated for the drive. We’ve never seen this side of immi, but I’m glad that she doesn’t just dislike everyone in the world! We have more pictures, but they are on Todd’s camera — maybe he’ll post them at some point…

It’s a really nice day out and here we are with our friends at Greenleaf Park. Immi is determined to play on every play-structure they have here even though it’s a bit hot in the sun (Aurie and I are chatting away while immi plays!)

Kevin, Wendy and Immi. Immi has been dragging around her rabbit, kitty, a sheet of stickers, and a princess wand which Jamie, Peter, and Ian got for her (thank you! She adores it, obviously!).

Thank you so much all of you guys for celebrating our baby No.2 and making us feel so very special and blessed to have such wonderful friends. …and also for the cutest baby boy clothes and toys. And Aurie, for the coolest Hello Kitty p-leather pillow for immi:)

…not in the photo is Ian who is Peter & Jaimee’s 2 year old boy (we didn’t seem to have taken many pictures at all…too busy catching up!). It’s been more than a year since Immi and Ian has seen each other. Their birthdays are 5 weeks apart and I’ve been enjoying watching him grow remotely through Jaimee’s blog, and it was so good to see him in person!

It’s Sophia and Mustujab’s wedding day today! Immi sat through quite a bit of the long-ish (to accommodate various cultural aspects they represent!) ceremony quietly (despite that she is a teething monster!). When she got a little fidgety I handed her PEZ in the Chococat dispenser which kept her quietly busy (though she did occasionally meow at it very softly…) for a while. But then she decided that she wanted to share her PEZ with everyone, so Immi and I left the hall while they finished up (We had gotten to see all the good parts anyways!).

Todd took a day off today and tomorrow! We are having phở for lunch with Jessica. We are waiting for our food and immi ran off with Jessica’s keys to put into the keyhole she spotted on the door nearby.

Immi really loved phở!! …and were getting into the car to go home when Immi decided to climb into the driver’s seat!
