Immi is playing in the play ground at the Mt. Tabor.
This little mountain is actually a lot bigger (with very tall trees!) than I thought it would be considering it’s sort of in the middle of Portland.

This little mountain is actually a lot bigger (with very tall trees!) than I thought it would be considering it’s sort of in the middle of Portland.
We are on our way to the beach because it’s almost immi’s birthday and she loves the beach. It’s afternoon, and the drive lulled immi to sleep.
It’s a really beautiful beach, and it’s a beautiful day! We don’t even need a jacket.
Immi is splashing about at the edge of the ocean. I had no idea that rain boots had such use!
Immi’s dad took off his shoes to cross the river to take photos, and immi is pleading him to let her take off hers. (The answer is “NO!”, it’s nice out, but the water is cold. Really cold.)
Immi was splashing about so much and the bigger wave came in and the cold water got in her boots. So I offered immi her jacket thinking she might be cold, but then she got really mad! As it turns out, she was upset at the sight of jacket because she thought that it means we are leaving, and she didn’t want to leave the beach!
Immi is hanging out in our patio garden.

She is talking to the pepper plant which has grown very tall!

The pretty green dress and the cute pair of sandals immi is wearing are some of the late summer/autumn apparels from her Grandmom:)
Immi loves to look out the window.

It’s been raining here everyday for many days in a row, and not so good for taking a walk. Maybe we should get rainy day boots for immi (she already has a Hello Kitty umbrella she adores)?

We woke up to a few inches of snow this morning!

Now that Immi found out for herself that it’s really cold out, we are hoping she’d keep her mittens on.

…but she took them off immediately!

We got back home this afternoon. Immi seems happy to be home. She is out on the patio with her dad watering and misting plants. Immi is picking off catnip and feeding her kitties.
Immi says a new word: “wroof”. She says it when she hears dogs barking.
We are taking a walk because it is really nice out. Immi stays on the path most of the time but she ventured onto the grassy area because she spotted a squirrel and wanted to talk to him (in “meow” of course!).
Who needs hair gel when you can use all natural, non-toxic, organic blueberry yogurt to achieve the same result??

Today I saw Immi put something in the trash can and I assumed she put trash in it. I found out shortly afterwards that she had put a mesh gift bag I was using to put a ball of yarn in. Admittedly, it was empty at the time and it “could be” a trash to many people but I wasn’t planning on throwing it out just yet. I guess Immi doesn’t quite understand about re-using and re-cycling.
Just our usual walk in the late afternoon. Immi at the playground. She wanted to tidy up the wood chips someone left on the playset and I had to stop her from sweeping them up with her entire arm (I didn’t want splinters in her hands and arms! Immi got one in her foot at the beach which was definitely not fun to remove!)

Immi found a leaf!
